
The “clown princes” of improvisation, the “masters of make-em-ups”, my brothers, the rarely punctual: CENTRALIA, Matt Higgins, Jay Rhoderick, Kevin Scott. From 2001-2005, I performed with Centralia completely improvising one hour shows of spontaneous theater and musical comedy. The best improvisations during this period were recorded and adapted into the musical, GENERICA, which debuted at the NYC Fringe Festival in 2002.
The show’s grand finale, ‘Holy Sh*t’ was immortalized in August 2007, when the Showtime Network used it as the centerpiece of their On-Air Promo campaign entitled, ‘The Best Shit on Television’, featuring a montage from the Original Series: Weeds, Dexter, the Tudors, and others, in what may be the first R-rated ad campaign in the history of American Television. And I’m singing on it!
