Hylo-fi is the solo project / band of Timothy Allen, guitar player for Thought. The first time I saw them at Zebulon in Williamsburg, the entire audience and I went into a spontaneously ecstatic jump dance. They sound like Led Zeppelin providing the soundtrack to a Voodoo ritual. Epic, afro-samba rock. Heavy metal tribal. Should I go on?
